This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic events leader who wants to connect creativity, business objectives, and measurable results in a remote-first environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the overall Events strategy, connecting proprietary experiences, sponsorships, and participation in third-party events to broader brand and business objectives.
  • Build and continuously evolve the annual events plan, defining priorities, formats, target audiences, objectives, and investment criteria for each initiative.
  • Lead and develop the Events team by establishing strategic direction, clear priorities, autonomy, and a high-performance culture.

  • Manage the Events budget and investments across events and sponsorships, ensuring efficient resource allocation and strong supplier negotiations.
  • Lead relationships with agencies, production companies, suppliers, venues, speakers, partners, and other stakeholders involved in event experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with Branding and Marketing teams to ensure consistency and maximize the impact of integrated initiatives.
  • Define and monitor event performance indicators, including brand awareness, demand generation, engagement, relationship building, business opportunities, and return on investment.
  • Consolidate post-event data, feedback, and learnings into actionable improvements for future formats, experiences, processes, and investments.
Requirements
  • Solid experience in planning, managing, and executing events and brand experiences, including proprietary events, sponsorships, and participation in third-party events.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to establish priorities, foster autonomy, and create a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Strong project management experience across complex, end-to-end initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, negotiating with suppliers, and defining and monitoring performance indicators and event ROI.
  • Strategic, organized, and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate brand and business objectives into relevant, creative, and executable experiences.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with large-scale events, particularly those reaching audiences of 5,000+ people, is a strong advantage.
  • Experience managing large industry trade shows from planning and booth activation through lead capture, management, and follow-up is desirable.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot and experience connecting events with data capture and relationship journeys is a plus.
  • Experience in technology, financial services, B2B, SaaS, and/or Enterprise-focused businesses is desirable.
