Position Summary:

Execute the Small Groups vision and systems established by the Small Groups Pastor, ensuring healthy leader support, smooth administration, and excellent communication for each Small Group cycle.

General Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Support

  • Lead and care for the Small Group Mentor Team.
  • Shoulder-tap, equip, and support new and returning Small Group Leaders.
  • Maintain consistent communication and pastoral care feedback loops.
  • Monitor Small Group health and report to the Small Groups Pastor.
Administration
  • Manage registration, renewals, and rosters for each Small Group Cycle.
  • Track and report Small Groups data in Rock RMS.
  • Maintain organization of the Small Groups Drive.
  • Train and assist leaders with my.manna.church.
  • Process and track Small Group Lane finances.
  • Return all communications within 24 hours (1 business day)
  • Ensure time is up to date in Paylocity
    • This includes recording your own hours (if applicable), approving your shifts by the 5th and 20th of each month, and requesting leave in a timely manner

Communication & Marketing

  • Collaborate with the Small Groups Pastor and Creative Department on promotions.
  • Draft and distribute leader communications and announcements.
  • Manage the Small Groups and Growth Track inboxes (24-hour response).
  • Collect and submit life-change stories for use in communications.
Events & Training
  • Plan and execute site-specific events:
    • Small Group Sunday (3× per year)
    • Leader Huddles (3× per year)
    • Trainings and gatherings as directed
  • Coordinate event logistics, communication, and setup.
Reporting & Evaluation
  • Collect and analyze feedback, attendance, and survey data each cycle.
  • Submit site-level reports to the Small Groups Pastor.
  • Track group health, leader engagement, and growth trends.
Resources & Systems
  • Maintain accuracy of the Small Group Resource Page and materials.
  • Create and update tutorials and leader resources for my.manna.church.
  • Support testing and implementation of new systems or tools.
Cross-Lane Collaboration
  • Support Growth Track administrative processes at Cliffdale.
  • Coordinate with Facilities for room use and upgrades.
  • Assist the Small Groups Pastor with special projects and initiatives.
Professional Standards
  • Respond to all communication within 24 hours (1 business day).
  • Represent the Small Groups lane with professionalism, clarity, and care.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications:A Certification or Degree in a related field such as Ministry Leadership.Spiritual Requirements:

  • Regular involvement in Manna Church activities and events.
  • Signed acknowledgement of Manna Church’s “Statement of Faith”
  • Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Manna Church’s employee handbook.
  • Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the Employee Handbook; participation in a small group; attending worship services; involvement in outreach; following Christ personally and passionately; sexual purity.
