PLEASE NOTE: THIS OPPORTUNITY CONSISTS OF TWO PART-TIME POSITIONS, EACH WORKING 25 HOURS PER WEEK.
ONE POSITION WILL OVERSEE THE WORSHIP CENTER, AND THE OTHER WILL OVERSEE THE PAVILION.
The Welcome and Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for providing direction and leadership to welcome and hospitality services at WoodsEdge Community Church. The Welcome and Hospitality Coordinator will work to ensure that everyone who engages with any WoodsEdge service is welcomed and treated with the highest standards of hospitality through teams of well-trained, well-equipped volunteers.
Requirements:Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop collaborative systems with all staff teams at WoodsEdge Community Church
- Oversee all Welcome and Hospitality teams: Greeters, Ushers, Community Coffee, Café, Parking, Shuttle, and Communion teams.
- Oversee execution of Welcome and Hospitality ministry at official WoodsEdge Sunday and Wednesday services.
- Oversee execution of Welcome and Hospitality ministry during all WoodsEdge special services, including Easter and Christmas Eve.
- Develop leadership structures for all Welcome and Hospitality volunteer teams.
- Ensure all Welcome team volunteers have:
- Organized and clean environments
- Necessary equipment
- Schedules communicated through Planning Center
- Develop and train all Welcome and Hospitality volunteers
- Communicate with the Pastor of Communities concerning issues or challenges
- Complete word processing and database assignments in a timely manner.
- Calendar events.
- Oversee the management of all Café spaces at WoodsEdge Community Church
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for ministry.
- Procure supplies for all Volunteer lounges
- Participate in team meetings.
- Attend all Welcome Ministry events.
- Communicate special needs to facilities.
- Participate in staff prayer and training meetings.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position provides direct supervision to the Café Coordinator and indirect oversight of assigned administrative volunteers. Responsibilities include training, scheduling, task delegation, performance evaluation, documentation, and corrective feedback when necessary. The Welcome and Hospitality Coordinator also ensures continuity of ministry operations by stepping in to complete or reassign essential duties when a subordinate is unavailable.

Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- 1- 2 years relevant work experience, preferred
- Commitment to ongoing personal growth in spiritual maturity and leadership skills.
- Experience in customer service, guest services and/or hospitality preferred.
- Experience in a café or coffee shop preferred.
- Experience leading teams
- Computer proficient with experience using Microsoft Office and other online applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work Sundays, Wednesday evening and holidays on an ongoing and consistent basis
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism.
