Job Description

Sr. Product Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager based in the United States.

This is a high-impact product marketing role at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and customer success.
You will shape how complex enterprise technology solutions are positioned, understood, and adopted in the market.
The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution across messaging, launches, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement.
You will translate sophisticated product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with CIOs, IT finance leaders, and other enterprise buyers.
Working closely with cross-functional and executive teams, you will influence both go-to-market strategy and product storytelling.
As an individual contributor, you will have significant ownership and the opportunity to build a product marketing function and playbook from the ground up.
Your work will directly support pipeline growth, competitive differentiation, customer adoption, and long-term market positioning.

Accountabilities
  • Own core positioning and messaging across technology expense management, IT financial management, FinOps, and AI-powered spend management, creating frameworks that can be consistently used across marketing, sales, leadership, and external communications.
  • Develop and oversee high-quality content that brings product positioning to life, including advertising copy, website messaging, social content, thought leadership, webinars, executive talking points, and other market-facing materials.
  • Partner with Product teams on pricing, packaging, feature narratives, and go-to-market strategy to ensure product capabilities and market communication remain closely aligned.
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product capabilities, covering messaging, launch content, sales enablement, customer communications, and post-launch retrospectives.
  • Build and maintain competitive intelligence and positioning, equipping sales and leadership teams with battlecards, objection-handling resources, training materials, playbooks, and field-driven win/loss insights.
  • Create and maintain sales enablement assets, including pitch decks, one-pagers, ROI narratives, demo storylines, case studies, testimonials, and customer proof points.
  • Train sales and customer-facing teams on evolving product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and new launch materials.
  • Collaborate with analyst relations teams to align category narratives across Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other industry analysts, contributing relevant product expertise, proof points, and customer outcomes.
  • Use market and business data to evaluate messaging and launch effectiveness, connecting product marketing decisions to pipeline, win rates, adoption, and other measurable outcomes.
  • Help establish scalable product marketing processes and best practices in an environment where the function is being built and continuously refined.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of product marketing experience within an enterprise B2B SaaS environment, with direct ownership of positioning, messaging, and product launches.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise CIOs, IT finance leaders, or similarly complex buying committees involving multiple business and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success creating sales enablement content that is actively adopted and used by sales teams throughout the customer journey.
  • Comfortable working in an environment without an established playbook, with the initiative and ownership required to build processes and programs from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, advanced workflows, and campaign automation.
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills, with the ability to turn complex product capabilities into clear, credible messaging for senior enterprise audiences.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, sales, marketing, and executive leadership.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to connect messaging and launch strategies to measurable business outcomes rather than relying solely on intuition.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Benefits

  • Compensation range of $140,000–$155,000.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Paid time off with an emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Opportunity to build and shape a product marketing function from the ground up.
  • High visibility and collaboration across product, marketing, sales, customer success, and executive leadership.
  • Opportunity to influence product positioning, go-to-market strategy, competitive differentiation, and enterprise customer adoption.
