Market research / competitive intelligence Evaluator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Market Research / Competitive Intelligence Evaluator based in the United States.

This role offers an opportunity to apply deep market research and competitive intelligence expertise to the evaluation of AI-generated professional work.
You will assess documents, spreadsheets, and presentations for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and overall domain quality.
Your expertise will help determine whether AI-generated outputs meet the standards expected from experienced professionals in the field.
You will identify factual inaccuracies, analytical weaknesses, presentation issues, and other quality gaps.
The role combines independent subject-matter judgment with structured evaluation and concise written feedback.
As a remote, hourly engagement, it provides flexibility to contribute on your own schedule while working on AI training initiatives.
Your insights will directly help improve the quality, reliability, and usefulness of AI-generated business content.

Accountabilities
  • Evaluate AI-generated market research and competitive intelligence artifacts, including documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations, against established domain-specific quality standards.
  • Apply structured evaluation rubrics consistently to assess the accuracy, rigor, relevance, completeness, and overall quality of generated work.
  • Identify factual inaccuracies, analytical gaps, logical inconsistencies, aesthetic issues, formatting problems, and presentation weaknesses.
  • Review outputs with a critical subject-matter perspective and distinguish between minor issues and problems that materially affect the quality or usefulness of the work.
  • Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback explaining identified issues and supporting evaluation decisions.
  • Apply professional expertise and sound judgment consistently across different types of AI-generated deliverables.
  • Complete assigned evaluation projects independently while meeting expected quality and delivery standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or a closely related field.
  • Native or professional fluency in English, with excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to critically evaluate business research, competitive analysis, and professional content for factual accuracy, analytical rigor, and quality.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle factual, analytical, visual, and presentation issues.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, structured, and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work independently, manage assigned projects, and apply evaluation criteria consistently.
  • Strong professional judgment and confidence in assessing the quality of work based on subject-matter expertise.
  • A Master's degree or higher from a reputable institution is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working as an independent contractor in a fully remote environment.
  • Candidates must be able to work without accessing confidential or proprietary information from any current or previous employer, client, or institution.
  • H-1B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported for this engagement.

  • Compensation of $80–$120 per hour.
