Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a Warehouse Operator for our Elevator Equipment Corporation located in Los Angeles, CA. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high quality elevator components.

Level 1: Entry-level warehouse position responsible for performing basic shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks under close supervision. The Warehouse Operator Level 1 supports day-to-day warehouse operations including material handling, packaging, and storage, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receiving and Shipping Operations:

  • Unload inbound shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts as trained.
  • Verify incoming goods against purchase orders or packing lists.
  • Label and barcode materials for accurate tracking.
  • Pack, seal, and label outbound shipments per standard procedures.
  • Stage outgoing shipments for pickup or loading as directed.

Inventory and Material Handling:

  • Receive and count materials, restock shelves, and maintain proper storage locations.
  • Perform routine inventory control and assist with cycle counts.
  • Organize and maintain stock areas to ensure efficient retrieval.
  • Identify damaged or incorrect materials and report to supervision immediately.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely (pallet jack, hand truck, etc.).

Equipment and Facility Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse workstations and aisles.
  • Perform basic upkeep of tools, pallets, and equipment.
  • Notify supervisor of maintenance or safety issues affecting operations.
  • Support general housekeeping and 5S initiatives.

Quality and Accuracy:

  • Check stock for visible defects or damage before use or shipment.
  • Ensure shipping accuracy by verifying part numbers and quantities.
  • Follow standard work instructions for labeling and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing errors.

Communication and Teamwork:

  • Work collaboratively with peers and supervisors to achieve production and shipping goals.
  • Communicate effectively regarding inventory shortages, delays, or issues.
  • Support other team members as needed during peak workload periods.
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Learning and Development:

  • Participate in on-the-job training to build familiarity with warehouse systems and procedures.
  • Develop foundational skills in inventory management and equipment operation.
  • Apply feedback from supervision to improve accuracy and productivity.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0-2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret labels, instructions, and measurements.
  • Basic computer or scanner proficiency for inventory tracking.
  • Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Regular and prompt attendance required.
