Dynamics 365 CRM Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dynamics 365 CRM Lead based in Canada.

The Dynamics 365 CRM Lead will serve as the technical authority and overall solution lead for CRM across North America. You will shape, deliver, govern, and continuously improve CRM solutions supporting sales operations, planning, and customer engagement. This role combines hands-on platform expertise with project leadership, stakeholder management, and solution architecture. You will work closely with business teams, IT colleagues, and external implementation partners to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. From discovery and design through implementation, testing, and go-live, you will help ensure successful delivery. Following implementation, you will remain a key platform owner, driving support, reporting, automation, and ongoing enhancements.

Accountabilities
  • Act as the Dynamics 365 CRM Solution Lead and technical SME, providing direction and expertise across North American operations.
  • Lead end-to-end CRM initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through design, implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Coordinate project delivery activities to ensure initiatives remain aligned with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to establish priorities, resolve issues, facilitate decisions, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Define and document business requirements, process flows, system requirements, and future-state designs for sales operations, planning, and customer engagement.
  • Guide solution architecture decisions covering CRM customization, data models, integrations, and migration strategies.
  • Coordinate testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions meet functional and business requirements.
  • Develop training materials, process documentation, and enablement resources to support successful adoption of CRM capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain governance practices that promote solution quality, scalability, consistency, and alignment with business needs.
  • Own ongoing platform operations by supporting users, prioritizing enhancement requests and issues, and identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain CRM reporting capabilities that support business insights and feed analytics platforms such as Power BI.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Demonstrated experience leading at least one Dynamics 365 CRM implementation, including project management and delivery responsibilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing CRM reporting outputs that integrate with Power BI or comparable analytics tools.
  • Practical knowledge of data migration concepts, including ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and mapping.
  • Experience designing or supporting integrations between CRM and other enterprise systems through APIs and interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of CRM architecture, customization, data models, testing, and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical system configurations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to operate across both technical and business environments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external implementation consultants while maintaining ownership of platform outcomes.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of $100,000–$140,000, paid in local currency, with the range varying by location.
