Job Description
Role Purpose:
Assists in the installation, maintenance, and general support of systems. Assists users with questions or problems. May help perform system backups and recovery and install new software. The core responsibilities of this role include troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems within a distribution warehouse facility, including Locus robots, baler systems, and other facility equipment, while ensuring all work is performed safely and correctly. The role also includes general facilities maintenance, installation, and repair.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for operational system integrity, including setup and control.
- Assist management with facility layout and design to efficiently utilize the WMS.
- Collaborate with IT to resolve system?related issues; apply basic electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Interface with operation staffs to maximize system efficiencies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor sites’ performance systemically.
- Analyze system discrepancies, generation of reports as necessary.
- Interface with customer host representative to identify and resolve issues systemically.
- Diagnose complex end user device issues, recommend and document process for resolutions.
- Develop and maintain training materials and guides to using the system.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on robots.
- Partner with Operations to conduct inspections, locate robots, and communicate issues to management.
- Document and promote best practices for on-floor robot management, train associates on standard procedures.
- Track and order parts, tools, and supplies for maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure safety compliance during spare parts replacement.
- Maintain clear shift-to-shift communication; wear proper PPE and follow all site safety standards.
- Ability to attend Locus Training.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years of Warehouse experience
- Proficient in report writing – 1 to 2 years’ experience
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Office Suite, and vendor portals for ticket logging and tracking.

- Analyze system discrepancies; generation of reports as necessary.
- May write crystal programs as required to facilitate the success of the total network.
- Interface with customer host representative to identify and resolve issues systemically.
- Diagnose complex end user device issues, recommend and document process for resolutions.
- Develop and maintain training materials and guides to using the system.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years of WMS experience
- Proficient in report writing – 1 to 2 years experience
