Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the branch’s operations, including production, parts, and service functions, to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This role assists sales management with sales growth, oversees workforce productivity, and ensures high-quality services are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.


Reporting Relationships:

  • Direct reporting to Chief Operations Officer
  • Indirectly reporting to Vice President of Sales

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Responsible for maintaining the location compliance to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and regulations as well as general housekeeping standards.
  • Responsible for facility upkeep and facilitating repairs and maintenance.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding fiscal budgets for assigned branch.
  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, including production, parts inventory, and service/repair functions.
  • Ensure efficient workflow between departments to support on-time delivery and quality standards.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance through KPIs such as turnaround time, productivity, and cost control.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain the Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan (SIOP),keeping data accurate and ensures staffing levels are set to ensure all commitments are met.
  • Initiates and/or contributes to continuous improvement projects, including but not limited to implementing lean manufacturing best practices.

Production Management

  • Lead and manage operations, ensuring builds meet customer specifications and quality expectations.
  • Plan production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste or rework.
  • Ensure proper tooling, equipment, and shop organization are maintained.

Parts & Inventory Management

  • Oversee branch inventory management, including monitoring inventory levels, high inventory accuracy, consistent cycle counting in accordance with the corporate plan, and parts availability to support production and service needs.
  • Minimize obsolete or excess inventory.

Service Operations

  • Manage service and repair activities, including scheduling, customer communication, and work completion.
  • Ensurehigh levels of customer satisfaction through timely and quality service delivery.
  • Monitor service performance metrics, including labor efficiency and service profitability.
  • Resolve escalated service or warranty issues.
  • Ensure customer follow up communications are being completed.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across production, parts, and service departments.
  • Provide clear expectations, coaching, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Customer & Vendor Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and vendors.
  • Ensure branch delivers a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Address customer concerns proactively and professionally.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, automotive/truck service, ora related field.
  • Strong knowledge of production, inventory management, and service operations.
  • Experience managing P&L and achieving financial targets.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or engineering (or other field) or a suitable combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Experience in truck upfitting, fleet services, or commercial vehicle industries.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, electrical systems, or vehicle modifications.
  • Familiarity with ERP/inventory management systems.
