Mixing Associate in Cato, New York at Nutrition Bar Confectioners LLC

Job Summary:

The mixers are responsible for creating quality product by ensuring that syrups and powders are weighed and mixed accurately and efficiently.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties as assigned):

• Transport ingredients from warehouse staging area into the production room
• Using the given formula, weigh out dry and liquid ingredients accurately
• Stage weighed ingredients ready for mixing
• Track all ingredients and lot codes on appropriate paperwork
• Heat syrups in kettle (when necessary)
• Pay attention to and follow all allergen and food safety procedures
• Add liquid and dry ingredients to the mixer
• Transport product from mixing to processing
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and turn into the Quality department
• Keep mixing area clean and close up all unused and opened ingredients
• Help in other areas of production as needed.

Required Experience and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Manufacturing experience (6 months)
• Machine operating experience (6 months)

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 6am-2:30pm (Hours may vary depending on business needs).

Pay:

$15-16/hour (DOE)
