Our Pharmacy team plays a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication use across Union Health facilities.
The Pharmacy Technician supports our patients by providing accurate and timely medication to our patients.
You would ensure our patients receive the correct medication in the proper dosage at the right time.
This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

• Understanding medication workflows in a hospital setting

Essential Job Duties:
- Assists with charging/crediting patient accounts.
- Accurately maintains required documentation.
- Assists with monetary functions as appropriate.
- Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assists in the prescription dispensing process.
- Monitors medication and supply inventory and receives order from wholesaler.
- Maintains a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of general math concepts and ability to work accurately with figures.
- General knowledge of the metric system, Latin abbreviations, and medical terminology (on the job training).
- Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
Licenses / Certifications:
- Certified Technician by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy.
