Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Department Director, you will play a vital role in the care of patients by performing perioperative preparation, including obtaining vital signs and performing lab draws of newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the department.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to, Director, RN or LPN and other members of the team in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.

Experience: Hospital experience-Preferred

Special Skills:Phlebotomy

License/Certification/Education:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)-Required
• CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)- OR PCT Training Program- Required
• High School or Equivalent-Preferred
