Frank Beverage Group in Baraboo, WI is now hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate. The team members of Frank Beverage Group are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers. This position is responsible for loading trucks with product for delivery.
Schedule: Tuesday- Friday, 10:00am- 8:00pm (end times will vary due to seasonality; flexibility in the evening is a must)
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Replenishes product in pick area
- Loads trucks and transfer trucks for other locations
- Builds pallets with product
- Unloads trucks as they return from route
- Sorts damaged products and empty kegs and return to appropriate area
- Check in liquor returns from drivers and put away and from transfers
- Help with quick pick orders from coming in from sales representatives during the day
- Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
- Places materials or items on racks, shelves and rows according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, or product code
- Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe
- Organizes warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Comfortable operating handheld computer devices, scanner and headset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Experience with forklifts is preferred, Ability to get forklift certified required
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of Post-Offer Pre-Employment Physical Assessment
Safety and Equipment:
- Steel-Toed/ANSI Standard Shoes are required
- Company paid uniform is required to be worn at all times
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 45 pounds on a consistent basis and up to 175 pounds on an occasional basis
- Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
