Tool Crib Attendant (18+ Year Old Applicants) in Farmington, Utah at Lagoon Amusement Park

Under the direction of the Tool Crib manager, the attendant is responsible for organizing and participating in the operation of the warehouse Tool Crib facilities in accordance with Lagoon’s policies and procedures.

Essential Functions of the Job

• The attendant will receive, store and issue hand-tools, dies, materials, industrial equipment, safety equipment, cleaning supplies, lighting, electrical supplies, certain ride parts, office supplies, etc. Both manually and with PC and AS400 computer programs.
• Will be responsible for monitoring tools for use and replacing warn tools and equipment as needed.
• Will receive, unpack, inspect and store all incoming parts, supplies, and tools coming into the Tool Crib.
• Must inspect tools and equipment for defects and wear and replace tools and equipment as needed.
• Will use both PC and AS400 computer programs to enter, receive, maintain, and print purchase requests.
• Exhibit a high degree of motivation toward providing customer satisfaction by displaying a friendly approach when servicing customers.
• Must be able to read and assimilate information provided in the Purchasing Department Manual and the Park Policies and Procedures Manual, and comprehend verbal instructions from the training Supervisor.
• Willing to conform. A neat, clean, professional appearance is required at all times.
• Willing and able to perform all other job duties and assignments as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications/Abilities

• Experience with industrial supplies and tools is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions to perform specific tasks.
• Able to work weekly scheduled shifts, may include morning (5am), midday, evening and late night (11pm) shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• This position requires working in a warehouse/shop environment.
• This position will perform essential job duties indoors with a computer and other employees.

Physical Requirements

• Able to regularly use hands to finger, hands, and feel.
• Able to move equipment which would include pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting.
• Able to stand and/or walk for up to (8) hours.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read and understand daily checklists.
• Able to speak to give other employees verbal instructions.
• Requires early arrivals and/or late-night departures.
