SAP PP Expert in India at Jobgether

This is a senior consulting and implementation role focused on SAP Production Planning within complex, global supply chain environments. The position involves working on end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformations, supporting manufacturing and planning processes across diverse industries. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP PP solutions that directly impact production efficiency, demand planning accuracy, and operational performance. The role requires close collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, and integration experts to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions. It offers exposure to large transformation programs and cutting-edge supply chain technologies. • Lead SAP PP configuration and implementation activities across ECC and S/4HANA environments
• Contribute to end-to-end S/4HANA implementation or system conversion projects with a focus on production planning processes
• Design and optimize key SAP PP functions including MRP, BOM, routing, forecasting, demand planning, and production execution
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate closely with ABAP, integration, and technical teams
• Support integration with external planning systems and SAP modules using IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, or CPI
• Work on enhancements and improvements related to planning accuracy, production efficiency, and system performance
• Ensure alignment of SAP solutions with business requirements in manufacturing and supply chain domains
• Participate in testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning)
• Hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
• Proven experience in at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation or conversion project
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP functional areas including MRP, BOM, routing, forecasting, and production execution
• Experience working with integration tools such as IDocs, ALE, BAPI, or CPI
• Ability to write functional specifications and collaborate effectively with technical teams
• SAP S/4HANA PP certification preferred
• Experience with SAP IBP, APO, or third-party planning tools is a plus
• Exposure to manufacturing industries such as Pharma, FMCG, or discrete/process manufacturing is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with ability to work independently in complex environments
