Overview

Velociti Services is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Evening Cleaners to provide exceptional janitorial services at an assigned customer site. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks while delivering quality service and following company safety standards.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies, including soap, paper towels, tissue, and other consumables.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, hallways, stairwells, and shared spaces.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuums, mops, and other janitorial equipment.
• Follow company policies, customer requirements, and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to supervision.
• Maintain janitorial closets, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug screening, when applicable.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and complete assignments efficiently.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning chemicals while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
