About Green Leaf Pet Resort

Green Leaf Pet Resort at Millstone is part of Digs Dog Care, a premium dog care company offering DayPlay, Overnight Stays, Grooming, and Training across multiple locations nationwide. We're built on a simple belief: every pup deserves to feel safe, loved, and at home — and every team member plays a real role in making that happen. Our shared ownership program means employees don't just work here, they have a stake in it.

About the role

Greenleaf Pet Resort is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative/Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. In this role, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care and outstanding customer service. You'll work closely with pet parents, caretaking staff, grooming, and management to ensure every guest has a welcoming and seamless experience from check-in to check-out. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, multitasking, and working in a pet-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and their pets with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, schedule reservations, and book appointments.
  • Check guests in and out while ensuring all required information is accurate.
  • Enter and maintain client profiles, vaccination records, and reservation details.
  • Process payments and other monetary transactions accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding reservations, services, and pet care.
  • Provide facility tours and educate clients about available services, amenities, and events.
  • Recommend services that best meet each client's needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with administrative tasks and ensuring smooth front desk workflow.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while helping maintain a safe environment for pets, clients, and staff.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service in a pet-focused environment. They thrive in a fast-paced workplace, communicate effectively, and enjoy interacting with both people and dogs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous reception, customer service, hospitality, veterinary, or pet care experience is a plus but not required.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and calendar systems.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Reliable attendance with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Ability to handle sensitive client interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
  • A genuine love of dogs and commitment to providing an exceptional experience for every pet and client.

What to Expect When Applying

  • Phone screening regarding your application.
  • An in-person interview to meet the team, tour the location, and get a glimpse of what your day-to-day will be like.
  • Orientation and training classes covering company policies, procedures, dog body language, and behavior.

What We Offer

At Digs, we take care of our pack. Dental and vision benefits kick in shortly after your start date, and at 90 days you're eligible for a 401(k) with up to 4% company match. At 6 months, medical benefits become available to full-time teammates, and after one year you can join our DigIn Shared Ownership Program — because we believe the people who build Digs should share in its success. Many locations also offer teammates discounted DayPlay as a little extra perk.
