About the Role

Happy To Help Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our caregiving team serving clients throughout Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Bancroft, Inkom, and surrounding communities.

As a caregiver, you'll provide non-medical, one-on-one support that helps seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Every shift is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships while making a lasting difference in someone's daily life.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Prepare meals and snacks based on client preferences and dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, changing linens, and maintaining a clean, safe home
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan (no handling or administering medications)
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and approved outings
• Offer respite care to support family caregivers
• Follow individualized care plans and document services provided
• Report changes in a client's condition or needs to the office promptly
• Promote each client's independence, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate care

Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred

• Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, assisted living, or customer service experience
• CNA certification is a plus but not required

No prior caregiving experience is required. We value kindness, professionalism, dependability, and a willingness to learn.

Position Details

• Location: Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Bancroft, Inkom, and surrounding Southeast Idaho communities
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights
• Type: In-home, non-medical caregiving
• Setting: One-on-one client care in private residences
