Electrical Tester in Anderson, Indiana at SST Direct

Location: Indiana
Pay: $22–$26/hr (based on shift & experience)
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd Shift (must train on 1st shift)

We are hiring Electrical Test Technician to support locomotive production and testing operations. This is a hands-on electrical troubleshooting role focused on testing, validating, and diagnosing electrical systems during the manufacturing process.

• Perform electrical testing on locomotive systems and components
• Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical circuits and systems
• Read and follow wiring diagrams and test procedures
• Build, connect, and verify test cables and electrical connections
• Identify and isolate electrical faults during production testing
• Support assembly and engineering teams in resolving issues before release
• Document test results and maintain quality standards

• Strong electrical background (industrial, automotive, residential, or manufacturing)
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams/schematics
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with electrical systems
• Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
• Must be willing to train on 1st shift prior to moving to 2nd/3rd shift

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM), Mon–Fri
• 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM, Sun–Thu
• Overtime available as needed

• $22–$26/hr depending on experience and shift
• Weekly pay
• Shift differential where applicable
