This role sits at the core of organizational cybersecurity operations, ensuring the integrity, availability, and protection of critical systems across production and development environments. You will monitor, analyze, and maintain security tools and infrastructure while actively responding to alerts, incidents, and compliance requirements. Working in a highly collaborative IT and security ecosystem, you will support continuous improvement of security posture through reporting, audits, and proactive risk mitigation. • Contribute to audits, compliance activities, and adherence to security policies and standards (e.g., PCI and internal frameworks)
  • Collaborate with IT operations, vendors, and stakeholders to deploy and enhance security solutions
  • Assist in security projects, system implementations, and selection of new security technologies
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and operational procedures to support security governance
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in IT and cybersecurity, combining hands-on technical experience with analytical thinking and a proactive approach to risk management. You are comfortable working across systems, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining security controls in complex environments.

  • 2–3+ years of IT experience, ideally with exposure to security operations or infrastructure environments
  • College diploma in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including networks, firewalls, VPNs, servers, and endpoint systems
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance requirements (e.g., PCI), and industry best practices
  • Experience with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
  • Knowledge of security tools, vulnerability scanning, monitoring systems, and incident response processes
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to document processes, manage priorities, and work independently in a structured environment
  • Certifications such as Security+, CCNA, Azure Security Engineer, or CCSP are considered strong assets
  • Scripting or coding knowledge is an advantage but not required
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package ($65,000–$87,000 base salary range + bonus eligibility)
  • Performance-based rewards and career progression opportunities
  • Ongoing training and professional development programs
  • Access to fitness and wellness membership benefits
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and energetic work environment
  • Exposure to modern security tools, cloud technologies, and enterprise environments
  • Opportunities to contribute to impactful security projects and initiatives
