We're Divine Flooring — one of Canada's largest manufacturer-direct flooring suppliers, but definitely not your typical flooring company.

We design and create our own products. We're fashion- and design-forward. We work with builders, designers, architects and some of the best people in the construction industry, and our products go into some of Calgary's coolest homes, communities and commercial projects.

We're looking for a Junior Designer who wants to learn this business from the inside and grow into a real design career.

You don't need five years of experience. You don't need to have already worked on a "real" project. You don't need to know flooring inside and out on day one.

We'll teach you.

What we can't teach as easily is drive and curiosity. We're looking for someone who:

• Is a people person and can build genuine relationships
• Has a genuine eye for design, colour, materials and space
• Pays close attention to the details other people miss
• Isn't afraid to ask questions or admit what they don't know yet
• Takes feedback and actually uses it, instead of getting defensive
• Wants real responsibility, not just busywork
• Is excited by the idea of seeing their work in actual finished spaces
• Actually cares about doing great work, not just finishing tasks

If you want to learn from experienced designers, work on projects across Calgary, and build a portfolio full of real, built work, we should talk.

You'll work alongside our design and sales teams on real, active projects — homes, communities and commercial spaces going up across Calgary right now. This isn't a "shadow someone and take notes" role.

You'll get hands-on with:

• Product selection, material boards and design presentations for clients, builders and designers
• Space planning and flooring layout for real projects
• Supporting site visits, measures and installs so you understand how design decisions actually play out in the real world
• Working directly with architects, interior designers and builders on live projects
• Learning how a project moves from a concept on paper to a finished space people walk into

As you grow, you'll take on more ownership — bigger projects, more direct client contact, and eventually the chance to help shape our product direction.

Because construction isn't going anywhere. People will continue to build homes, renovate spaces, develop communities and create places where people live and work — and flooring will always be part of it.

At Divine, you'll also be surrounded by design. We create products, follow fashion and architectural trends, work with incredible designers and builders, and get to see the finished projects that started on our desks.

Most importantly, you'll learn a business and a skill set that can stay with you for the rest of your career.

• A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Visual Design or a related field (recent grads welcome — this is built for you)
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Design software experience (AutoCAD, Measure Square, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is a strong asset

Ambition, work ethic, social skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn matter more to us.

Base Salary: $50,000–$55,000, plus performance incentives and commission

Our goal isn't to hire someone who wants to make $50,000 forever. We're looking for someone who wants to learn the business, prove themselves and eventually build a sales career where their earning potential looks very different than it did on day one.
