  • Monitor campaign performance through metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and opt-out rates, using insights to identify optimization opportunities.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for email and SMS campaign requirements, partnering with content, design, and marketing stakeholders to align communications with organizational objectives.

  • Manage campaign timelines, assets, dependencies, and cross-functional deliverables to meet milestones and performance targets.

  • Maintain awareness of digital marketing trends, platform developments, and industry best practices, sharing relevant knowledge with colleagues.

  • Support integrations involving direct mail, social media, marketing automation, and data management to strengthen the broader channel strategy.

  • Ensure campaigns comply with applicable email and SMS regulations, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and GDPR.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; a master’s degree is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience managing email and SMS marketing campaigns using enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Attentive.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, including the ability to build and troubleshoot responsive, mobile-friendly email templates.

  • Demonstrated expertise in audience segmentation and data analysis, with the ability to use subscriber behavior and demographics to develop targeted campaigns.

  • Experience planning, executing, and analyzing A/B tests to optimize campaign performance.

  • Strong project management skills and experience coordinating complex, multi-layered campaigns across cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting information and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Working knowledge of email and SMS marketing regulations, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and GDPR.

  • Active involvement in an evangelical Christian church.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to the Middle Tennessee area approximately 2–4 times per year for team gatherings.

  • Preferred experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud features such as Journey Builder, Data Extensions, AMPscript, and Marketing Cloud Connect.

  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools, marketing automation platforms, and testing technologies is a plus.

  • Exposure to JavaScript for advanced campaign development and dynamic content, as well as direct mail and social media integrations, is preferred.
