SNOW SHOVELLING — CREW MEMBERS & CREW LEADERS | $23–$30/hour

Employment type: On-call / Part-time / Full time with Guaranteed hours
Pay: $23–$30/hour based on the role, experience, and responsibilities
Departure point: 2288 Rue des Cannes-Brûlées, LaSalle
The duty
Teams meet in LaSalle, travel together by truck to perform manual snow removal at commercial properties across the Montreal area, and return to LaSalle at the end of each shift.
Crew Members: Shovel and clear walkways, entrances, stairs, and other designated areas. No experience required — training provided!
Crew Leaders: Perform the same manual work while assigning tasks, guiding the crew, and ensuring safe, quality service. Tracking the working hours of the crew members & driving them to different sites with a Strathmore vehicle. Relevant supervisory experience required.
Schedule
On-call shifts based on snowfall and operational needs, including nights and weekends.
Start times and shift lengths vary.

Guaranteed hours may be available with 24/7 availability, subject to the applicable arrangement.

Requirements and Physical Demands
Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork. Reliable transportation to LaSalle is required, including for overnight and weekend shifts.
Both roles involve physical outdoor work in cold, snowy, windy conditions and on slippery or uneven surfaces: walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and repetitive movements. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull loads up to 27 kg (60 lb) using appropriate techniques and equipment.
