Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a B2B Marketing Account Director based in United States.
This role owns a portfolio of 4–6 B2B accounts, serving as a strategic partner responsible for connecting marketing activity to measurable revenue outcomes. You will diagnose growth constraints, develop account strategies, and guide cross-functional teams toward execution. The position sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, with a strong focus on ICPs, lead quality, pipeline health, conversion, and revenue growth. You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, including VP and C-suite leaders, and bring a data-driven perspective to strategic conversations. The environment is highly collaborative, technology-enabled, and focused on continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to combine client leadership, B2B marketing expertise, team development, and commercial growth ownership.
- Own a portfolio of 4–6 B2B accounts, establishing strategic direction and maintaining accountability for client growth and business outcomes.
- Conduct quarterly diagnostic reviews to identify growth constraints across business, audience, product, messaging, channels, and measurement, then translate findings into actionable account roadmaps.
- Partner directly with client sales leadership on ICP refinement, lead scoring, MQL-to-SQL handoffs, pipeline quality, conversion, and overall revenue performance.
- Lead senior client relationships and facilitate strategic business reviews focused on revenue, pipeline, growth opportunities, and measurable business impact rather than campaign reporting alone.
- Coordinate paid media, SEO, content, ABM, creative, and other marketing disciplines around a unified B2B growth strategy.
- Drive client retention, renewals, account expansion, and recurring revenue growth by identifying opportunities to increase the value delivered across the portfolio.
- Build multi-threaded relationships across client organizations to strengthen partnerships and reduce dependency on individual points of contact.
- Monitor the consistent use of internal technology, performance tools, diagnostic frameworks, and client sentiment processes across managed accounts.
- Coach and provide direct feedback to analysts, specialists, and other team members, supporting their development and improving the quality of account execution.
- Use AI-enabled technologies and proprietary platforms to improve strategic analysis, operational efficiency, performance management, and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, strategic innovation, and service expansion that contribute to client outcomes and portfolio growth.
- 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a client-facing, consulting, agency, or strategic account environment.
- Direct experience working with sales teams and a strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing alignment, including ICP development, lead scoring, MQL-to-SQL handoffs, and pipeline management.
- Strong knowledge of B2B buying dynamics, including buying committees, long sales cycles, high-ACV opportunities, and enterprise customer acquisition economics.
- Solid understanding of B2B measurement and attribution, including pipeline contribution, attribution limitations, and measurement challenges associated with long sales cycles.
- Experience presenting strategic recommendations and performance insights to VP-level and C-suite stakeholders, including the confidence to challenge assumptions when supported by data.
- Demonstrated success retaining and growing client accounts, with a track record of contributing to revenue expansion and long-term client relationships.
- Hands-on experience developing ABM strategies, beyond campaign execution alone.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and commercial awareness, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong coaching and leadership capabilities, with the ability to develop analysts and specialists through clear feedback and strategic guidance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment and adapting to evolving client needs and business priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
- A strong interest in AI-enabled marketing tools and the ability to incorporate technology into strategic and operational workflows.
- Base salary paid in USD, plus opportunities for commission-based earnings.
- Unlimited time off available from day one.
- Fully flexible work environment, with full-remote, in-office, or hybrid options.
- $50 per month healthcare stipend to support healthcare or insurance costs.
- National holidays plus two mental health recharge days each year.
- Opportunities for career advancement and leadership growth within a rapidly expanding organization.
- Ongoing personal and professional development programs.
- Quarterly recognition programs, including awards and prize opportunities for outstanding performance.
- Opportunities to contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Exposure to complex B2B growth challenges, senior client stakeholders, cross-functional marketing disciplines, and AI-enabled technology.
