Home Title Group is seeking a positive, hard-working, and team-oriented administrative Title/Closing Processor to join its title processing team! This is a non-sales, non–business development role focused on administrative support and file processing for real estate transactions. The Title Processor will handle documentation, data entry, and coordination tasks that support accurate and timely closings.
Position SummaryThe Title Processor is responsible for the administrative processing of title files from order entry through closing. This role does not involve sales, business development, or client prospecting. Instead, it focuses on detailed paperwork management, coordination with internal and external parties, and back-office support for the Fort Wayne Closer and Sales Representative.
Position ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate order entry and maintain electronic records for all assigned title files.
Review purchase contracts and related documentation to confirm completeness and identify processing requirements.
Clear title items and title requirements through administrative follow-up with lenders, municipalities, and other parties.
Prepare transaction-related documents, including deed drafting and other closing support documents, based on established templates and procedures.
Conduct municipal phone calls and email follow-up to obtain required information and resolve outstanding items.
Balance closing figures with lenders and verify settlement-related information for accuracy prior to closing.
Provide behind-the-scenes administrative support to the Fort Wayne Closer and Sales Representative; no sales or business development activities are required.
Communicate professionally by email and telephone with clients, lenders, municipalities, and internal team members to move files forward, focusing solely on service and coordination rather than selling.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and data.
Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced administrative environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for routine calls and emails.
Comfort working in a structured, process-driven role with no direct sales or business development responsibilities.
Prior experience in title processing, real estate administration, mortgage, or related office work is preferred.
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift.
