About the Role:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance, guest experience, team development, and financial success of the restaurant. This position provides leadership and direction to ensure compliance with brand standards while creating a culture of hospitality, accountability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and execution of brand standards.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members and managers.
- Train new and existing Franchisees and Managers
- Responsible for achieving People, Performance, and Profit targets according to company standards
- Exemplify Quality Leadership traits and develop these traits in your team
- Conduct performance reviews and ongoing coaching conversations.
- Manage labor scheduling and staffing levels.
- Control food, beverage, labor, and operating costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain inventory controls, ordering processes, and product quality.
- Prepare operational, sales, labor, and productivity reports.
- Lead local restaurant marketing and community engagement efforts.
- Maintain facilities, equipment, and overall restaurant appearance.
- All other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Performance Expectations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achieve restaurant sales and budget targets.
- Maintain labor costs within company-approved targets.
- Maintain food and beverage costs within approved targets.
- Guest satisfaction score of 90% or higher.
- Brand standards and operations audit score of 90% or higher.
- 100% completion of required training programs.
- Maintain appropriate staffing and management coverage.
- Timely completion of all reports, inventory counts, and compliance requirements.
- Reduce turnover through effective leadership and development.
- Maintain health department compliance and food safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum 2-5 years of restaurant management experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems, scheduling software, inventory systems, and restaurant management software.
- ServSafe or Food Manager Certification preferred or ability to obtain.
