Our Resident Engineer Inspection division is seeking qualified Traffic Signal Inspectors for major NCDPW projects in Nassau County, NY.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for construction inspection of major traffic signal infrastructure projects
• Monitor and track project schedule and budget
• Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
• Track work progress through daily field reports and photographs

• Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• NICET Level II Certification preferred
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field considered in lieu of NICET Certification
• Recent NCDPW and/or NYSDOT project experience required
• NYCDOT traffic signal experience will be considered
• Computer experience required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experienced with on-line project management software a plus (SiteManager, ASHTOWare, Appia)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to collaborate/coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and field staff
• Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License

- We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.

- Compensation: Min: $98k - Max: $116k. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on the individual candidate's qualifications and location.
