Job Description

Child Development Coordinator

Summary
: Provide administrative support to Birth to Three Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following.
  • Receive and process new referrals
  • Put together intake packets/fliers to send to families
  • Sending evaluation reports to necessary agencies/families
  • Complete and send out weekly meeting notices
  • Entering/maintaining/logging/filing discharged children
  • Process Medicaid exemption requests
  • Process disability / SSI requests
  • Data entry, data editing, report generating and data reporting across multiple data systems (MS Access, PPS).
  • Maintaining/updating bi-weekly staffing agendas
  • Coordinate annual State B-3 survey
  • Monthly SC file reviews
  • Ordering forms/publications/brochures
  • Maintaining adequate amounts of copied materials (test protocols, screeners, family packets and other handouts) for Birth to Three staff
  • Supporting Birth to 3 staff on prepping and completing paperwork
  • Supporting Birth to 3 staff with intakes, evaluations and facilitating meetings as needed
  • Providing Service Coordination to no more than 10 families
  • Act as a back-up to front reception, as needed.

  • Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Social work, Psychology or a related field; and two years related experience and/or training; and/or combination of education and experience.

Essential duties may at time require a Wisconsin driver’s license, a good driving record, and access to a personally owned and adequately insured vehicle.
