WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Lead and develop the AV PM team, driving improvement through direct coaching, performance management, structural team development, and individual career pathing.
- Oversee day-to-day PM operations, serving as the primary resource for real-time problem-solving, daily unblocking, and tactical mentorship.
- Manage team capacity and project assignments, directing the intake pipeline to strategically allocate new contracts based on PM expertise and workload.
- Lead routine team syncs and stand-ups to review immediate project statuses and dynamically reallocate resources.
- Establish and enforce PMO methodologies, standardizing project delivery across the division while conducting regular compliance and documentation audits.
- Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation alongside the Install Manager and Resource Coordinator to guarantee multi-project baseline success.
- Drive team productivity and division profitability using advanced weekly metrics, portfolio reviews, and macro-level strategic planning.
- Govern high-level commercial AV implementation, establishing master schedules, funding limits, and strategic execution procedures.
- Serve as the executive escalation point for high-profile clients during critical pre-sale, enterprise account, and complex construction meetings.
- Oversee technical delivery channels, ensuring seamless distribution and archival of AV drawings between engineering and field execution teams.
- Mitigate operational and financial risk by providing guidance on complex site issues and systematically controlling high-value change orders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (field operations, engineering, service) to streamline complex commissioning, programming validation, and formal project handoffs.
- Maximize profit margins through continuous quality improvements, vendor negotiation, and strategic execution of complex projects.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in commercial audio visual integration, unified communications, or construction technology project management.
- 5+ years of dedicated people management experience, with a proven history of managing, hiring, and mentoring PM teams.
- Active industry credentials are strongly preferred, including an active PMP (Project Management Professional) and AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certifications.
- Elite proficiency with enterprise tools, including MS Office Suite, D-tools, advanced project tracking frameworks (e.g., Monday.com, MS Project), and CORE accounting/contact management software.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills tailored for communicating complex technical states to C-suite stakeholders and clients.
- Advanced analytical and multi-project tracking skills with an intense, high attention to detail.
- Proven financial acumen with the ability to architect technical and labor solutions that are both beneficial to the client as well as cost-efficient for Continua.
- Ability to synthesize highly complex technical info, architectural designs, workflows, and enterprise infrastructure procedures.
- Prompt responsiveness and emotional intelligence regarding internal team needs and customer relationship issues.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different operational environments.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The hiring compensation range for this position is a base salary of $120,000-$150,000 plus bonus potential. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.

HOURS:
This is a full-time position. Standard work schedule is Monday-Friday unless otherwise noted.
