This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Forward Deployed Solution Strategist based in the United States.
This Director-level role sits at the intersection of supply chain strategy, enterprise AI, technology, and customer success.
You’ll own strategic relationships with major enterprise customers, helping them adopt advanced solutions and translate technology into measurable business value.
The role combines executive-level advisory, hands-on platform work, solution strategy, and cross-functional leadership.
You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand complex operational challenges and identify opportunities across supply chain decision-making.
You’ll also partner with Sales to support renewals, expansions, and long-term account growth.
The environment is fast-moving and highly collaborative, with significant autonomy and opportunities to shape how customers use emerging AI and analytics capabilities.
Up to 25% travel within the United States is expected to support customer engagements, workshops, and strategic relationship building.
- Own the strategic success of the largest enterprise accounts, acting as the primary customer lead and coordinating internal teams to drive adoption, retention, and measurable business outcomes.
- Lead quarterly success reviews, governance sessions, and executive engagements that align stakeholders around business objectives, impact, priorities, and the product roadmap.
- Embed deeply within customer organizations to understand supply chain processes, operational challenges, and technical capabilities, translating those insights into actionable solution strategies.
- Develop solutions across areas such as scenario modeling and network analysis, operational planning and fulfillment, and AI/ML-powered prediction use cases.
- Partner with Sales on account planning, renewal strategies, expansion opportunities, and growth workshops designed to identify new users, workflows, and business units.
- Work hands-on with the platform to turn early concepts and “art of the possible” ideas into working prototypes, collaborating with forward-deployed engineering resources when needed.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer adoption and develop compelling business cases that demonstrate the commercial and operational value of additional solutions.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, providing structured insights to Product and Engineering and helping influence roadmap priorities.
- Train and enable customer teams on a sophisticated and evolving technology platform, building confidence among both technical and non-technical users.
- Help customers develop their own internal supply chain engineering capabilities to support long-term independence and successful platform adoption.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and maintain strong executive relationships throughout the customer lifecycle.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, supply chain operations, go-to-market strategy, or related roles, with a demonstrated track record of leading AI, analytics, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations and the ability to confidently engage in both strategic business discussions and technical conversations.
- Deep expertise in at least one core area: modeling and analysis, planning and execution, or AI/machine-learning-driven use cases.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technology or platform adoption and quantify measurable customer value through stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and success reviews.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to establish high-trust relationships ranging from end users to senior leadership.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with experience identifying expansion opportunities, developing growth narratives, and supporting account strategy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams while translating customer needs into actionable internal insights.
- Comfortable working hands-on with technical platforms and building prototypes alongside customers.
- Experience training and enabling customers on complex or evolving technology, including the ability to make technical concepts accessible to less-technical audiences.
- Highly adaptable, coachable, resourceful, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to connect technical capabilities with practical business outcomes.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily within the United States.
- $180,000–$230,000 annual on-target earnings (OTE).
- Base compensation determined based on experience.
