Job Description

Manager, Provider Success

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Provider Success based in United States.

This role leads provider success operations in a high-impact telehealth environment focused on improving access to specialized care.
You will design scalable support models and workflows that reduce administrative friction and help clinicians stay focused on patient care.
The position sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, clinical leadership, data, technology, and workflow automation.
You will partner closely with medical and operational leaders to improve provider onboarding, scheduling, activation, engagement, and retention.
A major focus will be using data, automation, and AI-assisted tools to simplify workflows and support faster, better operational decisions.
You will also have the opportunity to build and develop a Provider Success function as the organization and scope continue to grow.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure, solving complex operational challenges, and improving the clinician experience.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and evolve pod-level provider support by creating effective workflows, shared data practices, automation, and resources that enable provider success.
  • Partner with medical and clinical leadership as the operational counterpart across the provider lifecycle, from onboarding and activation through ongoing engagement and retention.
  • Develop streamlined provider onboarding, continuing education resources, tooling, and help desk support in collaboration with clinical leadership.
  • Provide operational support for provider activation and retention initiatives designed to keep clinicians engaged and effectively supported.
  • Design and implement systems, workflows, and automation that reduce administrative cognitive load and help prevent provider burnout.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions, including AI-assisted workflows, that improve usability, accelerate decision-making, and strengthen the Provider Success function.
  • Own provider-facing scheduling and coverage processes, including incentive hours, holiday coverage, on-call arrangements, PTO and out-of-office reviews, panel transfers, and responses to system outages or urgent coverage needs.
  • Partner with clinical leadership, analytics, and capacity teams to monitor provider caseloads and maintain appropriate capacity through routing, incentive hours, and panel adjustments.
  • Build and maintain the tools, knowledge resources, and operational relationships providers rely on for day-to-day support, including administrative block reviews and schedule audits.
  • Lead direct reports and develop the Provider Success team as the function expands, ensuring staffing levels remain aligned with workload and operational needs.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and contribute to other operational priorities as needed.
Requirements:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in healthcare operations or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, health technology, behavioral health, or a related environment, including direct people-management experience.
  • You have experience owning or supporting a provider-facing or clinician-facing support or account management function, ideally within telehealth, virtual care, or a clinical organization.
  • You are curious about emerging technology and comfortable experimenting with AI-assisted tools and automation to solve operational challenges.
  • You have experience with help desk platforms such as Zendesk or Freshworks, with familiarity with on-call scheduling tools such as PagerDuty being advantageous.
  • You have familiarity with EHR platforms, with Athena experience considered a plus.
  • You have demonstrated experience designing and building operational workflows, tools, or automation from the ground up rather than simply administering established programs.
  • You have experience partnering with clinical or medical leadership on provider onboarding, training, retention, or related initiatives.
  • You demonstrate strong judgment when distinguishing operational matters from issues requiring clinical leadership and are comfortable working across both areas.
  • You have experience developing team structures and staffing plans using real workload and operational data.
  • You are analytically fluent and comfortable retrieving data, interpreting insights, and applying them to scheduling and capacity decisions.
  • You are proficient with Google Workspace, a project management platform such as Asana, and CRM systems.
  • You have strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, and organizational skills.
  • You have consistent access to a private work environment with high-speed internet suitable for frequent video conferencing.
  • You are authorized to work full-time in the United States, physically reside within the United States, and do not require current or future visa sponsorship for this role.
Benefits:
  • The position offers target compensation of $90,000–$115,000 per year, with final compensation determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data.
  • The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.
  • Employees receive discretionary paid time off, 8.5 additional sick days, and 10 paid holidays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance are 100% employer-paid.
  • The benefits package includes paid parental leave and employer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • Employees have access to a 401(k) retirement plan and a $50 monthly remote work stipend.
  • Additional benefits include an Employee Assistance Program, discounted pet insurance, and Working Advantage travel discounts.
  • All required work equipment is provided.
  • Employees have access to LinkedIn Learning and resources supporting ongoing professional development.
  • The role offers the opportunity to influence provider operations, workflow automation, and technology adoption while helping improve the delivery of specialized telehealth care.
