Patient Safety Associate (PSA)-Medical Surgical in Bennington, Vermont at Southwestern Vermont Health Care

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Medical Surgical team seeks support to care for our patients. The Patient Safety Associate is great way to help support the Med surg team and patient needs.

Under the supervision of an RN, provides close, continuous observation of patients who may be at risk for adverse events such as falls, self-injury or harm to others. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, unless the patient needs are such that adverse health consequences are predictable.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.

LNAs, nursing students or medical path students highly preferred for this position.
