Job Description

Description: SENIOR ENGINEER

Poway, California | Full-Time | $100,000–$130,000

Who We Are Looking For:

Radeus Labs is looking for a curious, hands-on Senior Engineer who understands how software and hardware work together and enjoys taking a problem from concept to a working system.

Your background may be in hardware, software, SATCOM, computing, embedded systems, or a combination of these areas. What matters most is your ability to work at the system level and understand how components come together. We are looking for someone with software-on-hardware experience who enjoys troubleshooting, integration, and solving problems without an obvious answer. The right person:

· Asks questions and digs into the why, not just the symptom.

· Takes ownership rather than waiting for someone else to solve the next piece.

· Enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and improving real systems.

· Can move between engineering, production, testing, and customer conversations.

· Challenges existing processes and looks for better solutions.

· Follows problems through to resolution and takes accountability for the outcome.

What You’ll Do

Own complex engineering projects from requirements and concept through design, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and customer delivery.

· Translate customer needs and technical requirements into practical solutions.

· Design and integrate systems involving hardware, software, computing, communications, and/or SATCOM.

· Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and system-level problems and identify root causes.

· Build, integrate, test, and improve prototypes and production systems.

· Work with engineering, production, quality, and program teams to bring designs to life.

· Work directly with customers to understand requirements and resolve technical issues.

· Lead or contribute to design reviews, integration, verification, and validation.

· Develop technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, test plans, and reports.

· Identify opportunities to improve designs, processes, quality, reliability, and efficiency.

· Balance technical requirements, schedule, cost, manufacturability, and customer expectations.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

· Support products after delivery and see technical issues through resolution.

Why Radeus?

Our systems are highly specialized and customized, so there isn’t always a textbook answer. If you hear “We’ve never done that before” and think “Let’s figure it out,” you’ll fit right in.

Benefits

Radeus Labs offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off and holidays, life and supplemental insurance options, and education reimbursement opportunities.

Eligibility waiting periods may apply. Radeus Labs is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
