Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA,CMA) to join our Pulmonolgy Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full Time

• Work Shift: Days

• Hours: 7:30a.m-4:00p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: At CMH Pulmonology Clinic, we see patients for a variety of illnesses and ailments, including:

• Asthma

• Lung cancer

• Pulmonary embolism

• Pneumonia

• We provide services such as bronchoscopies and pulmonary function testing. Our board certified physicians are well-qualified to administer care to you and your family.

As a Medical Assistant (MA,CMA), you will be:

• Obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical history, and reconciling medications and allergies

• Completing required screenings and assessing the history of present illnesses

• Administering medications orally, via injection, or nebulizer

• Performing IV Therapy and catheterization (nurse only)

• Cleaning and restocking exam rooms between patients

• Communicating test results and provider messages to patients

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma

Experience: Patient care

Skills: Multi-tasking and communication, both written and verbal

Licensure/Certification: CMA, CCMA

Physical Requirements: The ability to stand for long periods and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
