The position also offers opportunities to lead strategic projects and contribute to access strategy for early-stage pipeline products.
This is a remote leadership opportunity suited to an analytical, commercially minded professional who can bring structure and insight to complex and ambiguous business questions.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as the Global Value & Access point of contact for business development assessments involving pricing, coverage, reimbursement, and market access assumptions.

  • Coordinate with regional, country, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish aligned and well-supported access and pricing assumptions.

  • Lead targeted research and analysis of potential business development targets, including products, competitors, analogs, payer environments, and relevant market dynamics.

  • Use market intelligence and healthcare databases such as IQVIA MIDAS, MMIT, CMS Medicare, Navlin, Analysource, AlphaSense, and DRG to support commercial assessments.

  • Collaborate with pricing teams and external agencies on secondary and primary payer research.

  • Develop pricing and access assumptions for revenue forecasts, including scenario analyses and sensitivities based on target product profiles.

  • Lead cross-functional discussions around the key drivers of pricing and access risks and opportunities and quantify their potential impact.

  • Participate in deal governance, project meetings, and business development processes to ensure market access inputs align with timelines, decision points, and broader commercial assessments.

  • Translate complex market research and reimbursement analyses into strategic insights that support business development decisions.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen market access capabilities and lead strategic projects as needed.

  • Potentially serve as an Access Strategy Lead for internal early-pipeline products.

Requirements
  • Doctorate degree plus 4 years of relevant market access, payer, or aligned commercial experience; or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience.

  • Deep understanding of U.S. and global payer environments, including coverage and reimbursement, pricing, value drivers, formulary management, health technology assessment, and health policy.

  • Significant experience in U.S. market access, such as Contracts & Pricing or Payer Marketing, or comparable experience in global market access or market access consulting with strong U.S. expertise.

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate pricing and reimbursement environments and translate complex analyses into relevant business questions and strategic recommendations.

  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including experience with market research, data analysis, scenario modeling, and quantification of business impact.

  • Ability to work effectively in highly fluid, matrixed organizations and establish productive partnerships with global and regional stakeholders.

  • Strong strategic-thinking and conceptual problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop pragmatic approaches to solving them.

  • Excellent judgment and the ability to make informed assumptions when working with incomplete or limited data.

  • Strong understanding of how pricing and access considerations can affect providers, patients, payers, and commercial outcomes.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality analysis under tight deadlines.

  • A collaborative, consulting-oriented mindset and demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional decision-making.

Benefits
  • Base salary range of $194,060.10–$262,551.90 USD annually, with actual compensation determined by relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

  • Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus program.
