Operations Administration Intern - Fall of 2026 in Greensboro, North Carolina at Cogent Analytics

Cogent Analytics is seeking an Operations Administration Intern for a six- to twelve-month rotational internship. This position will cross-train across the core functions of our Operations Administration team, building the knowledge needed to cover each Operations Administrator.

As the intern becomes proficient in each area, they will assume day-to-day responsibilities, allowing team members to complete their own cross-training. This role will directly support the team’s goal of creating full cross-functional coverage and operational continuity.

This internship is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week.

• Cross-train in invoicing, collections, report generation, and client lifecycle tracking
• Learn and work across ClickUp, Fulcrum, Core, and Tableau
• Provide coverage for Operations Administrators after demonstrating proficiency in each function
• Maintain accurate client, financial, and operational records
• Generate reports and track required follow-up activities
• Help ensure administrative responsibilities continue without interruption
• Follow established procedures while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
• Handle financial and client information with accuracy, professionalism, and discretion

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning multiple systems and business processes
• Able to manage changing priorities and follow tasks through completion
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to support different team members
• Comfortable working with reports, financial information, and detailed records
• Able to work independently after receiving training

College juniors and seniors studying Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field may be especially well aligned. However, aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn matter more than a specific major.
