This role offers end-to-end ownership of programmatic strategy, execution, and performance across a portfolio of medium to large client accounts.
You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on campaign management, directly overseeing campaigns and driving measurable business outcomes.
As the primary programmatic lead, you’ll translate growth objectives into sophisticated media strategies across leading DSPs and emerging platforms.
You’ll build trusted client relationships through strategic recommendations, performance storytelling, testing roadmaps, and proactive problem-solving.

This is a fully remote, full-time leadership opportunity with significant autonomy and a path toward broader team leadership.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead programmatic strategy, execution, and optimization across a portfolio of 6–8 medium to large client accounts, ensuring performance aligns with business objectives.
  • Directly manage campaigns as a hands-on programmatic lead, with long-term responsibility for building and developing a team.
  • Own client-facing communication for key accounts, including strategic recommendations, performance narratives, testing roadmaps, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Translate high-level growth objectives into actionable programmatic strategies across DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, Yahoo, StackAdapt, and AI Digital.
  • Drive advanced media buying decisions across campaign structure, audience segmentation, bidding strategies, measurement frameworks, and budget allocation.
  • Apply advanced targeting, dynamic creative approaches, and emerging platform capabilities to improve campaign performance.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to increase campaign efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
  • Partner with analytics, creative, and account teams to align programmatic strategies with broader client and business goals.
  • Support revenue growth initiatives through new business opportunities, existing-client audits, and RFP participation.
  • Mentor Managers, Senior Analysts, and Analysts by providing guidance on execution, troubleshooting, optimization, and strategic development.
  • Oversee campaign QA, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure accurate implementation across channels.
  • Partner with analytics teams on attribution models, testing frameworks, measurement strategies, and performance interpretation.
  • Ensure campaigns meet appropriate brand safety, viewability, and ad verification standards.
  • Support onboarding of new clients through audits, strategic recommendations, and transition planning.
  • Contribute to playbooks, best practices, training initiatives, and process improvements across the programmatic function.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting standards, operational efficiency, and campaign execution.
  • Stay current on programmatic industry trends, emerging technologies, platform developments, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing programmatic media, digital marketing, or performance marketing campaigns, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing and scaling campaigns across major DSPs, particularly The Trade Desk, DV360, and Amazon DSP.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex client relationships with limited oversight.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic metrics, audience strategy, campaign optimization, and attribution modeling.
  • Experience with DMPs, CDPs, and ad verification tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including interpreting performance data, structuring tests, and translating results into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present strategies, insights, and performance results clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between creative and programmatic performance, with the ability to guide creative testing and iteration.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong ownership and autonomy, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, experimentation, emerging technologies, and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrated ability or interest in mentoring and developing programmatic talent.
Benefits
  • Salary range of $120,000–$140,000.
  • Full-time, fully remote position in the United States.
  • Accelerated career growth and opportunities to take on broader leadership responsibilities.
  • Opportunity to build and lead a programmatic team as the function scales.
  • Direct mentorship and collaboration with senior leaders across departments.
  • Collaborative environment with experienced strategists, creatives, analysts, and technologists.
  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 100% company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.
