What you'll do

Project Planning & Coordination

1. Develop project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, and key milestones
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project partners
3. Review project designs, plans, and specifications to ensure requirements are met

Budget & Cost Management

1. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking
2. Monitor project expenses and coordinate the procurement of materials and subcontractor services
3. Identify project risks and develop strategies to minimize their impact on cost and schedule

Scheduling & Time Management

1. Create and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines
2. Monitor project progress and make adjustments to keep projects on schedule
3. Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of each phase

Quality & Compliance

1. Ensure construction activities meet industry standards, building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
2. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress
3. Identify and resolve quality, compliance, and construction issues

Team Leadership & Communication

1. Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel
2. Conduct project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and communicate updates
3. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies

Documentation & Reporting

1. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and progress reports
2. Prepare and provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients
3. Ensure project changes, approvals, and other key decisions are properly documented

What We’re Looking For

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
2. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
4. Experience managing project budgets, cost estimates, and financial performance
5. Strong understanding of project scheduling, coordination, and risk management
6. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
9. Strong organizational and documentation skills
10. Proficiency in project management and related software
11. PMP or other project management certification is a plus
12. Commercial HVAC or mechanical construction experience is preferred
