About the Role
As a Personal Banker II, you will be a trusted resource for customers as they manage everyday banking needs and make important financial decisions. You will help customers open and maintain accounts, complete transactions, understand available banking solutions, and feel confident in their relationship with Rio Bank.

What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with customers by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services
- Open and maintain consumer and business deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and related account services
- Accurately process retail and commercial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and check cashing
- Educate customers on digital banking tools, account features, and available services to support and enhance customer experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable banking regulations, security procedures, and internal policies
- Resolve routine customer questions and concerns professionally, escalating matters when appropriate
- Partner with team members and other departments to support branch goals and provide consistent service
- Maintain reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in daily responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Personal Banker II
Your day may begin by preparing for customer appointments, reviewing account needs, or getting ready to assist customers at the banking center. Throughout the day, you may open accounts, process transactions, answer questions, and help customers understand the banking tools and services available to them.
You will work closely with your team, support branch operations, and take pride in delivering accurate, dependable service. Each day brings variety, along with opportunities to learn, solve problems, and build trust with the customers you serve.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. (hours vary)
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) or more years of customer service, sales, or banking experience, preferably in a financial institution
- One (1) or more years of cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining professionalism
Preferred
- Some college coursework or additional banking-related training
- Knowledge of banking rules, regulations, products, and services
- Bilingual abilities to support a diverse customer base
