Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse Manager
Reports To: CEO
FLSA Status: Full Time Salaried Exempt

The Nurse Manager/Director of Endoscopy Services provides administrative and clinical leadership for CDHA’s Endoscopy Centers. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading staff performance and development. The leader collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support efficient operations, patient safety, and excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations Management
- Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of the Endoscopy Centers.
- Select, schedule, assign, and evaluate nursing and support staff; adjust staffing patterns based on patient volume and operational needs.
- Supervise or delegate orientation of new staff through qualified team members.
- Coordinate workflow, clinical assignments, and patient care activities.
- Ensure smooth operational flow to support timely, efficient, and high-quality services.
Clinical Oversight & Patient Care Quality
- Ensure completion of RN patient assessments and adherence to endoscopy protocols.
- Monitor nursing care delivery and patient interactions for compliance with physician orders and standards of care.
- Promote a strong culture of patient safety and clinical excellence.
- Conduct routine rounding and audits to assess care quality and patient experience.
Policy, Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, goals, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with AAAHC standards, HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines.
- Interpret and enforce institutional and departmental policies.
- Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and legal standards.
Quality Improvement & Performance Management
- Lead and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Analyze operational and clinical metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support development of service enhancements and unit-based programs.
- Promote patient service excellence initiatives.
Staff Development
- Evaluate staff performance and support professional development.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and engagement.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels for operational efficiency.
- Address employee relations issues or escalate appropriately.
Financial & Resource Management
- Assist in development and management of the unit budget.
- Oversee procurement and inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records, including controlled substances documentation.
Patient Experience & Environment of Care
- Address patient/family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and comfort of care areas.
- Promote a positive patient experience aligned with organizational values.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive clinical and/or leadership experience in endoscopy, perioperative, or procedural settings required.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Active participation in performance improvement initiatives.
- Current licensure and certifications maintained in good standing.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina required, or eligibility to practice in North Carolina through a multistate license under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems.
Physical Demands
- May frequently lift or assist in moving up to 100 pounds.

- Regular verbal communication and hearing ability required.
