SparkFly Creatives is looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our client base across York and Central Pennsylvania.

You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, uncovering marketing challenges, and introducing prospects to SparkFly's full suite of branding, creative, digital marketing, video, and content solutions.

Responsibilities & Duties

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and research prospective clients throughout York and Central Pennsylvania
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outreach, and community engagement
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand business goals, challenges, budgets, and timelines
  • Present customized creative marketing solutions that align with client objectives
  • Develop proposals and coordinate project scoping with internal creative teams
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and client handoff
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Identify opportunities for upselling within existing client relationships

Community Engagement & Networking

  • Attend local networking events, chamber functions, trade shows, and community events
  • Build strategic relationships with local business owners and community leaders
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for SparkFly Creatives
  • Cultivate referral partnerships that generate long-term business growth

Client Relationship Management

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients
  • Maintain regular communication with prospects and active accounts
  • Participate in client review meetings and growth planning discussions
  • Help ensure smooth transitions from sales to project delivery

Sales Operations & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
  • Track activities, opportunities, and sales forecasting
  • Contribute ideas for improving sales processes, messaging, and prospecting strategies
  • Participate in sales training, coaching, and professional development initiatives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, OR equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of B2B sales, business development, account management, or related experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales technology tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling marketing, creative, advertising, media, or professional services
  • Familiarity with York and Central Pennsylvania business communities
  • Existing local professional network
  • Experience with consultative selling and relationship-based business development
