Job Overview:

This role is critical in helping provide excellent care for our clients, both human and canine! Much like a nurse supports a doctor, Bathers prepare, assist, and care for the pets before and after grooming so our Groomicians can focus on their craft. They also help keep the facility clean and help ensure the smooth operation of each day.

There are no solo performers at our company - we use a team approach to providing the best grooming experience for our clients, while also providing the best employment experience for our team.

As a company headed towards meaningful expansion, our employees also have opportunities for growth and advancement as Groomers, Store Managers, Trainers, etc.

Compensation:

Starting pay of $15-16/hr based on experience

Performance-based bonus incentives (based on individual performance and team performance) and opportunities for advancement

Requirements:

Pet handling experience preferred

Ability to take initiative and help where needed

Comfortable working around pet hair and dander

Compassionate and patient when handling dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being while in our care

Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments

Excellent customer service skills, willingness to go above and beyond for our clients and their pups

Friendly, positive and team-oriented attitude

Reliable and punctual

Adherence to dress code, including wearing a company uniform

Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, lift and generally fulfill the physical needs of the role

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and compassionate experience for each dog in our care

Bathe and blow dry dogs, following specific instructions based on each individual dog

Clean lobby, bathing and grooming areas throughout the day

Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures

Communicate needs and concerns with team members and leadership in a timely manner

Communicate and document any health concerns or conditions for pups in our care

Maintain cleanliness of salon, lobby and bathing areas

Check clients in and out, providing exceptional customer service
