$25.50 - $27.50 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, to keep properties in top condition.
- Identify and address potential issues proactively to prevent costly repairs and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently, ensuring resident satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory to support operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, demonstrating reliability and commitment to resident safety.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, or a related field required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours, evening, weekend, and emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Strong communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, repair techniques, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Functional smartphone required to access and complete work orders through the company's maintenance management application.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
