Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pain Management
North Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time
Join AZ Pain Doctors and make a lasting impact on patients living with chronic pain. Work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative outpatient practice where you'll expand your clinical expertise, and enjoy a rewarding Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
- Review imaging and diagnostic studies
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and expected outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Respond to patient questions and care-related messages
- Collaborate closely with physicians regarding interventional pain management procedures
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving quality of life
What We're Looking For
- Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing
- Active DEA and CDS licenses
- Previous Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred
- Pain management, neurology, spine, or outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- EMR proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM; subject to change)

Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Certification in relevant specialties (e.g., pain management, neurology) preferred
- Proven experience in pain management, neurology, or spine care
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems and documentation standards
