This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engenheiro DataOps Sênior (AWS) based in Brazil.

This role is an opportunity for an experienced DataOps professional to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions in a cloud environment.
You will contribute to the development and operation of high-performance data pipelines, supporting the delivery of reliable and efficient data platforms.
The position combines DevOps practices, data engineering, and cloud technologies to solve complex technical challenges.
You will work in an agile and collaborative environment alongside multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, product specialists, and technical leaders.

Accountabilities:

The Engenheiro DataOps Sênior will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines while ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong technical ownership, collaboration across teams, and the ability to apply DevOps principles to modern data environments.

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for Data Lake environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing processes to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Implement enhancements and optimizations across data engineering workflows.
  • Build and operate applications following DevOps culture and best practices.
  • Develop microservices for data consumers within Amazon EKS environments.
  • Enrich events with platform data and support integrations with analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, QA specialists, designers, Scrum Masters, functional teams, and technical leads to solve complex challenges.
  • Apply relational and dimensional data modeling techniques to support scalable data solutions.
  • Contribute to agile team activities and continuous delivery practices.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has solid experience in DataOps, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering, with strong technical knowledge of AWS services and automation practices. We are looking for someone analytical, collaborative, and capable of designing reliable solutions in complex data environments.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and monitoring AWS data pipelines.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of EC2 virtualization environments.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Git.
  • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with Amazon EKS.
  • Programming experience with Python.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems, especially Kafka.
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies and concepts, including Spark, Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, and Kafka.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
  • Knowledge of storage solutions including S3, Redshift, Parquet, and Delta.
  • Experience with data modeling concepts, including landing, cleaning, processing, curation, fact/dimension structures, ETL flows, and data marts.
  • Strong understanding of AWS-based data pipelines and modern data engineering practices.
