Position: Bartender

Location: In person required: Palms Place - 4321 W Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89103

Shift: Open, Swing, Closing, Weekends, Holidays (Mandatory)

Starting Base Salary: $12.00 per hour plus tips

Expected Hours: 10 - 30 hours per week (based upon business needs)

Supervisory: Reports to Bar Lead, Shift Supervisor, Assist GM, and General Manager

Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging experience for guests by preparing and serving beverages with consistency, accuracy, and hospitality. This role includes crafting cocktails, pouring beer and wine, taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. Bartenders must uphold all food safety and alcoholservice guidelines while delivering prompt, friendly service. Success in this position requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment, and a positive, teamoriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge, preparation, and service of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages with consistency, accuracy, and in accordance with mixology recipes
• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients
• Suggest menu items and upselling specials, food, and beverages
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift
• Assist with bar prep, including cutting garnishes and restocking supplies
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, bussers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Handle busy periods with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Perform and adhere to legal standards of alcohol service; conduct ID checks, strictly monitor guest alcohol consumption, and perform service refusal during overconsumption

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years previous bartending experience
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during highvolume service
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods
• Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and eager to serve
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Understanding of health regulations and ability to enforce cleanliness standards.
• Required certifications Food Handlers Certification and Title 4
