Chinook Equipment in Nisku just added the Bobcat equipment line to round out our product offerings, and we’re looking for a driven Compact Equipment Sales Specialist to help grow and lead this exciting expansion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting new business, growing a portfolio of key accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service within the assigned territory.

We’re looking for an experienced sales professional from the heavy or compact equipment industry who is hungry for success and ready to take the next step towards a rewarding career with a family-owned company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent and champion our Bobcat compact equipment line
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Prepare customer quotes, sales orders, and conduct tailored sales presentations/demonstrations as required
  • Develop customer solutions including financing and rental purchase options
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to provide valuable insights to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Service & Parts) to ensure seamless delivery and support
  • Deliver after-sale support and high levels of customer service

Skills and Experience of our Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior equipment sales experience is preferred, Bobcat experience is a strong asset
  • Strong connections within the Edmonton & area market
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of equipment applications
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
  • Results driven with exceptional execution skills to meet or exceed targets
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned territory
  • Ability to pass a criminal record/credit check and provide a clean driving abstract
