This role is designed for a highly creative and culturally fluent social media professional who lives and breathes global football storytelling. Working at the intersection of sports media and digital entertainment, you will help grow highly engaged fan communities across the Americas. The role requires someone who can move fast with live sports moments, transforming breaking news into compelling, platform-native content. You will collaborate closely with editorial and leadership teams to refine strategy and optimize engagement. This is a fast-paced, highly responsive environment where creativity, instinct, and timing are everything.

Accountabilities:
  • Execute daily social media strategy across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, ensuring content reflects a distinctive, culturally resonant voice rooted in football storytelling.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage social content calendars covering live events, match days, tournaments, episodic programming, and partner-driven campaigns.
  • Create engaging, high-impact content including copy, visuals, and short-form video optimized for social platforms using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and mobile editing apps.
  • Monitor global football news and cultural trends in real time, rapidly adapting breaking stories into relevant, engaging social content tailored to diverse fan communities.
  • Engage actively with online audiences, fostering community interaction, loyalty, and growth while collaborating on performance analysis and content optimization.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, ideally within sports media, digital publishing, or fast-paced content-driven environments.
  • Native or professional-level fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong cultural understanding of football audiences across the Americas.
  • Strong content production skills, including experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and mobile-first editing tools such as CapCut.
  • Deep knowledge of global football, particularly leagues and competitions across CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, MLS, Liga MX, and Copa Libertadores.
  • Strong instinct for digital trends, audience engagement, and platform-specific storytelling, with the ability to adapt quickly to real-time content demands.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, aligned with the global football calendar.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $55,000 to $75,000 annually.
  • Remote work flexibility within the United States, with East Coast preference.
  • Opportunity to work at the center of football culture and digital sports media innovation.
  • Creative, fast-paced environment with strong ownership over content direction and execution.
  • Exposure to high-profile brand partnerships and large, highly engaged global audiences.
  • Dynamic schedule aligned with global sporting events, offering immersive real-time content creation opportunities.
