This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about helping businesses achieve sustainability goals through innovative recycling and environmental solutions.
The Sales Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting pipeline growth, managing customer relationships, improving sales processes, and collaborating across departments to drive long-term business success. The ideal candidate will bring strong Salesforce expertise, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex sales activities while contributing to Denali’s mission of advancing sustainable solutions across the food and agricultural industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead by Example- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through professional, proactive communication.
- Serve as a trusted resource for customers by understanding their sustainability goals and recommending tailored recycling solutions.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability while supporting overall sales team performance.
- Manage complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through successful closure.
- Coordinate proposals, follow-ups, negotiations, and account activities to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Support account retention and growth by identifying opportunities to strengthen client partnerships.
- Monitor inbound lead flow, outbound sales activity, and marketing campaign performance.
- Identify trends and insights that help prioritize high-value prospects and accelerate pipeline movement.
- Assist with prospect outreach and customer engagement initiatives to support revenue growth.
- Partner closely with sales, marketing, finance, legal, customer service, and operations teams to support proposal development and account management.
- Maintain accurate and organized records within Salesforce CRM, including leads, opportunities, conversions, forecasting, and quota attainment.
- Support reporting and forecasting efforts that contribute to reliable financial and operational planning.
- Participate in strategic planning and forecasting sessions with sales leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, workflows, and reporting efficiencies.
- Leverage AI-driven tools and automation opportunities across the sales cycle, including lead scoring, email sequencing, and forecasting improvements.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of CRM reporting, workflow optimization, forecasting, quota tracking, and pipeline management.
- Ability to analyze sales and financial data to support strategic business decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong professional phone presence.
- Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers across multiple industries.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- General knowledge of recycling, sustainability, food waste, or environmental services industries is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing, agriculture, restaurant, or waste management industries is considered a strong asset.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Additional certifications or training in sales, business, sustainability, or revenue operations are a plus.
- Salesforce Administration Certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales coordination, B2B sales support, proposal generation, account management, or customer support.
- Experience within recycling, sustainability, environmental services, or related industries is strongly preferred.
