About the Role:

The Deposit Operations Representative I plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing and management of deposit transactions within the banking sector. This position is responsible for reconciling internal bank accounts, processing customer account maintenance, and supporting electronic banking and debit card inquiries. The representative will work closely with various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with banking regulations. By maintaining accurate records and providing timely responses to customer inquiries, this role contributes to the overall efficiency of the bank's operations. Ultimately, the Deposit Operations Representative I helps to foster a positive banking experience for customers while supporting the bank's operational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in banking or finance.
  • Basic understanding of banking operations and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries by researching and resolving issues.
  • Maintain and update customer account information in the banking system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding account balances, transaction history, and other banking services.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports related to deposit operations and customer transactions.
  • Reconcile general ledger and correspondent bank accounts as needed.

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm rotating Saturday 8:00am - 12pm as needed
